About CastDeck

Who we are

We are the CastDeck editors, an unnamed team who would rather you judged the pages than our biographies. Think of the place as the record shop on the corner, where someone behind the counter knows every name on the shelf and will tell you straight what they would pick. We have our favourites, and we say so openly. The opinions on these pages are ours, and you are welcome to disagree with them, which is half the fun of a shop like this one in the first place.

How we work

The method is plain. We read each listed profile and series listing, describe what is there in our own words, and compare people where a comparison helps. That is all there is to it. The data on the site was noted in October 2026, and listings can change after that, so check Candy itself for the current state of things. We do not give scores or make up statistics, and when we say what a conversation might be like, that is our reading of a profile and we mark it as such. Start with the people to see how it looks.

How the site earns money

We should be plain about this as well. CastDeck is unofficial and not run by Candy.ai. The site carries affiliate links, which means that we may earn a commission if you follow one and go on to pay for something. That money keeps the lights on, and it does not buy anyone a kinder description here, because we describe people by what the listing says and tell you plainly who we would pick.
