Riley First, Regina Next: when the family gets involved

Premise and tone

A man is seeing Riley. Then Regina, who is Riley's stepmother, makes it clear she has noticed him, and what starts as banter becomes an entanglement nobody seems ready to end.Going by the setup, the tone sits closer to playful than tragic, with the consequences stacking up behind the jokes. It is a story about people choosing badly with their eyes open, which is my favourite sort of bad choice to watch from a sofa.

Who is who

Riley and Regina are the two names in the story, and the man between them does not get one in what I was given. No cast is listed and no ages are given, so that is where my knowledge stops. I would be wary of anywhere that tells you more with confidence. Neither name matches anyone in the profiles here, so please do not assume a connection because a first name looks familiar.

What the free episodes tell you

You get 5 episodes, the first 2 free. Episode 1 runs 88 seconds, one of the longer openers in this set, so you get a little more room to judge. The remaining 3 list at 12 tokens each, 36 in total, and promotions can change that, so check the current price. Use the free ones to decide whether you actually like these two people, because the plot asks you to spend time with their worst decisions. For conversation rather than plot, the chat basics page explains how the other half of Candy works.
